I have so many things to blog about but maybe one at a time right? or this has the potential to turn into a diary.

Ok....on a lighter note. Friday night was my girl school ball. It was much anticipated obviously but wasn't without its hassles. Anyhow....she got there. Looked lovely and had an amazing night so that was all that mattered. She even won the salsa cntest and was very happy with that. A few pics (she was not happy about the pics! can you tell? )

 

So anyhow I wanted amazing pics and got a couple of ok ones....but the worst part was Elliott (Kates boyfriend) was not able to attend the ball as he doesn't attend the same school. They have a rule where no non-enrolled students are allowed. Sad but I understand why they do it. Was a bummer.
She was not enjoying the pics at all. Tensed up like mad and moaned her bum off......Elliott was a dream. Oh well. Proud mummy.

Thanks for everyones emails last week after my back fiasco. I am still having allot of trouble and as I type I am nearing the end of how long I am sit for. I tried standing to type and scrap but I hurt in other places then. Gosh I just hope it goes down soon.....I am over the pain!

Hubby is in NZ. In court for the remainder of the week and home Friday. I know he is not having fun due to the text I got before saying 'listening to all this legal stuff is so boring'....poor thing.

Ok. Happy start to the holidays people. Sure hope the rain stops so we don't all end up with caged beasts!

what a few days....

I have myself the injury to end all injuries. A unilateral Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction. This is so friggin painful. So it is basically the joint in the back top of the pelvis and it has dislodged causing knives to be thrust into my lower back and leg *well that is what it feels like*. Have never felt this sort of pain before and I'm keen for it to go away.

So here I am. Feeling sorry for myself and wondering if this is what getting old is all about? If so...I WANT NO PART OF THIS!

Anyhow....a huge thanks to Vicki at TM for all her help during my class yesterday. It was murphy's law that on the day that walking was hard and bending was impossible almost, I would drop everything I possibly could....someone is punishing me for sure. Thanks also to all those lovely ladies who braved the rain and wind to come and play! we had fun creating a special little mini book!

Vicki also hooked me up with her special little Chiropractic man who has helped but sadly doesn't have a miracle cure. Thanks heaps! Today I feel like the ruck than ran over me, also backed over me to finish me off. The back muscles everywhere are angry!

So here I am just puddling slowly round the house.

Went to Cannington to the craft show on the weekend to catch a trim  guy and this is what Nikita had done.

Had the absolute pleasure of being a (noisy) student in one of Max & Auds amazing classes the other day at TM. Love those girls. So fun. Had a blast! Created this awesome dreess form....love it. Appeals to the gothic dark side I have. Thanks girls.

Thrilled to bits!

Well. Leasing. It is a bad word in this house at the moment. With our lease up in July we were faced with an awful decision. Where we want Nikita and Liam to go to College is in another suburb and with the landlord offering only an additional 6 months (jan expire) and friends coming to stay in Jan and summer holidays etc etc, I just knew that I couldn't move them. It would be insane.

We have a terrific relationship with our landlords. A lovely young couple. And so I spoke to him and said that we were stil trying to decide where to be and that we would look in the area where we would like to be and go from there. Well last night he called. They have offered us another 12 months and we are thrilled. Just the thought of moving again right now gave me the hebbe jebbies! So I am so happy this morning that I can put this to bed for the time being and think about it again next year.

ramble ramble......yay

My BIL has faced some challenges this last week and half and I know my sis has been out of her mind with worry but they have had some great news and are sleeping easier.

My niece is finished uni for 5 weeks after some tough exams and I haven't been able to see much of her but I know she has done well. I am proud of her.

My nephew is making the big move to live with his girlfriend. I wish them all the best! O to be young again.

The rest of the extended family are doing great. Looking forward to when my Aunty arrives fromover East for my Dads (her big brothers) 70th birthday. Yay!

Craig and the kids are good. Craig is back in NZ for a week from the 3rd but sadly it is not a relaxing visit with him in court for the week and on call for the QC, then back on the following Friday. Poor boy is going to see how cold it really gets huh!

Well. Wet here over the next few days and that is ok. We need it. So have finished the new crop kit layouts for Shop and Crop but can't share yet. They are the new yummy webster papers....ooooohhhh makes my heart sing! Got some other quick stuff to finish and then finishing the Boyanup Retreat class pages. YAY!

Ok....that is a big sortof boring post but hey....it has to happen.

Not kiwi cold

Yes it seems cold. It is chilly. The rain is here (which we need) but it is stil not Kiwi cold. Yesterday I heard them talking on the radio that it was one of the coldest highs on record here in Perth. 12 degrees! lol.....Huh.... That is not cold. Cold is when the ice doesn't thaw from the frost that am and instead gets worse at night. Cold is when the fog lifts at 11am and comes back down at 3pm.....thats cold. So just when I start to think.....getting cold. I think of home. Miss so much about home but not winter.

So much happening at the moment. Working 3 hours on a Thursday is awesome. Love getting out amongst it. Classes for the retreat are coming along but sadly I have had other stuff to complete first. This fasty for Shop and Crop
Very flat for me but it is done. Not allowed to use other products as that wouldn't be fair to show the layout would it.....so these are available at Shop & Crop (dam this underline thing won't turn off)

Kate has her ball next week, Craig is flying out to NZ next week, it is insane. On a bright note my next class at TM is coming up next Monday morning. Seems that this suits allot of people so that is great for those that can't attend night classes. Sneak peak here


Well that is it from me today. Trying to get the house ready for another dreaded inspection. Not sure why I panic....it is always tidy.

Oh man....this life is mental!

Actually today I had to just get out of the house and spend some time (or was that waste some time????) at the store. TM is the coolest place to hang. I did this cool album cover for some 6 x 12 page protectors and then the dramas trying to get stock ARGH! Sorry Jo....hate that it is like this for you but I guess this is a sign of the 'low stock levels' time! Suppliers are keeping less and less on their shelves which means we as Retailser have a chance of getting less and less from them. Of course it doesn't help that I always choose the things like Heidi Swapp and Prima! Comon though.....they are fabulous products! I am hoping to come up with a solution and I know it will be a cool class!. Might share a sneak peak soon when I think I can cover the product!

Well life has been a little mental. With being a human Taxi and Mum, Cleaner, Accountant, Referee AND wife and mother I have just not found the time for this. I mean I love my little blog. If for no other reason than just for fun, but sadly....it is always the first thing to suffer when I get busy! and rightly so!

This class is coming up at the end of the mnth! June is almost over....Oh man.....anyhow. This is a cool little book that I was shown years ago that I love and time and time again  it is a favourite. There are places stil available if you want to come play! Call the store and book your spot!

The scrap spaces overhall

Yup it happened! It was well overdue!
With the introduction of the new clip it up system, It was only right that after getting all of my stock out of the baskets I would need a huge tidy and reshuffle in the space. And....for those of you that have been uming and arghing about the clip it up....STOP IT! BUY IT NOW it weill be the best organisational money you wil spend! Seriously I have not been a gadgety or faddy type person. Just use what works for me, but let me tell you I have rethought this since my clip-it-up arrived. This is seriously cool!
So here they are.....the before and after shots!

Can't tell you how much this unity made a difference, and you get heaps of clips with them. I have used all mine...lol...but hey....that is what it is for right?

Ok. now I have to share. Yes I know some of you will cringe but hey.....that is life.
Yesterday I went to se a guy called Jim. He is probably not your average guy, but he is an amazing artist and a nice guy so I thought yeah I can trust him....'To do what?" you ask....well to Tattoo me. I have some bigger work coming up this year. A dream of mine for the last few years to memorialise my kids and my angels so I can't wait for that but this was just so very me. I drew it, took it in and voila!!! I love it. Will heal more over the next day or so and the pink will show more and more.

It is not for everyone but I am thrilled with my 'E'. It is perfect. No it didn't hurt there! Infact I was shocked at how painless it was. Like a scratch with a toothpick. Actually this arm has had a beating lately after buring myself really bad on the heatgun I have, then burning myself on my iron. Something about burning it, so this was nothing! Will be sure to share the more colourful, larger, memorial tattoo once it is completed, later in the year.

Ok....Off to TM tonight for the fortnightly moonlight....yah!

My baby girl turns 11

You it goes without saying, that when there are 6 members of a family there always seems to be a birthday coming and going. Last month my eldest turned 17 this month the younger girl turned 11. I still struggle with how fast the last 11 years have gone and just what we have done inside that time, but here she is. A gorgeous wee thing full silver lined clouds and flying horses....magic lives inside her. She loves everything she recieves for her birthday, including the new fluffy flannell jammies (even though it is a little warm for them yet.But ,especially the new stereo with Ipod dock she got after her old cd/radio thingie died. Needless to say she hasn't been out of her room much...lol

Today we went to see 'Night at the Museum 2' and they loved it. As I type she is watching a movie in her room with her pal Isobelle. So lovely.
Happy birthday sweetie!

Now this.....this handsome youn g man is my eldest boy playing his first game with his new WA soccer side. Sorry about the socks mate! *slack mummy hadn't collected his new nice black ones with white tops....dang they would have looked better in these pics too right!*
Thi boy is a natural. He seems to get into just the right spot and know exactly how to tap the ball. He was even seen running towards the sideline to keep the ball alive and realised he couldn't turn on it and play it off to someone so he (using the back of his heel) tapped it inside to another player....nice skills huh!
Love watching this guy!

Tomorrow we have a family BBQ which is always a nice gathering and then a nice quiet week. Might even get a jump on the classes for the upcoming Boyanup Retreat with the amazing crew from Scrapboxx

OH WHAT A NIGHT

Friday night brought the biggest week on the calendar so far for the girls at TM, to a manificient close. It was the birthday crop. Formal was the dress and sadly I have shamelessly posted this from the lovely Kris' blog. She can be seen next to me in the group waiter picture....love it.

We all had such a great night down at the shop last night to Celebrate Tomorrows Memories 5th Birthday. All the Ladies went to such a great effort to get dressed up and participate in the spirit of the night.. To Vicki, Jo and Clori, Thank you so much for allowing me to work in such a great shop, you should be so proud of your efforts throughout the whole week and deserve a well earned rest!!

Why does nothing last????

Why does all things house related have to all completely die at the same moment, week or month??? Is this some sort of conspiracy that the manufacturers have? Is thee a certain time on the clock during a day when all the printers around the world that left the factory at a certain time all say..."I am done. I am tired....dam thing....I am outta here" ??? The same with the cameras? The washers, the dryers. I dunno. I seems like a conspiracy but alas the printer spat it!

So The new Pixma by Canon has made its way into the scraproom. I mean I love Canon ....no argument. I love the individual ink tanks (for economic reasons) I love the print quality.....I love everything! I know there are great printers out there but this one rocks. It is just the later version of the old but all I need....unless I was of course wanting to print up to 12"but couldn't justify the money.

So welcome new printer. If your looking for a fabulous printer under $150.....this is a gem. You can get them for $150-$169 but what a great deal.

ok.....so there you go.

Soon I will be entering the Clip it up club. I have long thought of organisation in this space of mine. I have cabinets with baskets for everything but you know what....I CAN'T SEE IT ALL! So after much deliberation, and gentle persuation from Tracey and Sasha & others (thanks for the advice Tracey) I have decided to nominate the space and commit to it! I will bring you the indepth review after it arrives but I am looking forward to it after the baskets overflowing behind me are driving me MENTAL! {er}.
