I served Joel his lunch the other day and he must have spotted the water squirty bottle on the table that I use to spray the girls hair before doing it. I didn't realise he could reach it and when I looked over.....he was spraying himself in the face! Well 2 top-ups later and he was saturated but loving every minute of it. You can see that he has no problem getting his face wet.....he is a demon in the bathroom!
It has been a full week with my Mum here. Was great to have her. Had heaps going on so I felt a little....vacant, at times but just awesome. And she brought us all scarlet runner beans. For as long as I can remember as a kid my mum grew beans. Not just any beans but the best beans. I love fresh beans in summer and I hate paying $17 per kilo for them, so this was awesome. We all had our fix!

Kids are awesome. Long hot days, and nights, but enjoying summer.
Huge respects going out to all who knew Sir Ed Hillary....what a man. What a week with all the mourners marking the memories. Good on you NZ.....proud to be kiwi.
Lots of trees coming out at the willis ranch at the moment. Huge Banksia tree that was really crocked and growing where our new fence needs to go and one very messy cabbage tree....yuk. All good though cause it means we are closer to getting the fences finished & the section scaped. yay!
5 more sleeps till Craigs mum & dad arrive, and the kids are excited. Loads to do so away I go.

I had better update this thing before another years passes. I hate that the time is going so fast. Craig went back to work on the 7th with a grumble instead of a spring in his step. We had a blast over that 2 weeks. Bike riding after getting a seat for Joel, and swimming, and fishing, and walking, and flying the kites. Cool fun.
The new fence was the target on the night of the 1st. Vandals kicked in 2 of the i mtr panels at a cost of $100 each andleft us feeling a little angry. Imagine how angry we were then when after getting up yesterday morning we heard the crashing and banging and knew exactly what it was. BOTH sides of the fence this time. Craig chased them down and they were arrested after a tense stand off. The young boy has just turned 16 and was totally off his brain. Drunks and high. Craig could smell the booze on him. He was boligerant and just a total looser. Make is worse he has been in a pile of trouble here saindse he and his parents arrived from CHCH to holiday in the leisure park our local camp. Well....long story short. He was formerly charged with possession of an offensive weapon and resisting arrest and his parents (apprently a nice couple at their witts end) were evicted from the park and sent home....ouch. On some strange level I feel sorry for them. But then again.....well.....it is a huge pandoras.
so.....the fence is now fixe again....this tiome at a cost of over $500 and someone has to pay. grrrr.
on a happier note.....we are getting very close to collecting a new baby. I just got word that the puppy we want might be available on the 14th of February....Valentine puppy....It is suchan exciting time. The kids have waited for nearly 4 years for this. We were planning a pupy before we were relocated so has been a reward they have definately earnt. I can't wait either.
I am in the middle of a big Fiskars project at the moment. Having fun with it but sadly I can't share it. It is heading offshore for an ad campaign but one day we might see it in print. I can share a project I did reently after mid Feb. Otherwise....mmmm....this is the layout I did and the display for the shop. The paper is K & Co and is embossed silver swirls....just lovely.
Will get a better pic of the layout and share later.
A couple of the kids over the trip to Ligar bay....just gorgeous.
