11 SLEEPS TO GO AND COUNTING!!!!

I am so slack. The last post was 2 weeks ago....argh....where did that time go?

Since then I have-

1. Had my arm tattooed by the bestest chicky in the business ...non other than the lovely Suzi Q. This chick is the best. She has travelled and had too many articals in the mags etc etc , won awards, and is heading back to a 3 day Expo in Melbourne soon. She is the professional. A neat lady with a talent that I was saerching for. Being a memorial type tattoo I had very fixed ideas about this. SHE BLEW THEM AWAY! so here it is......(pic take when I got home on the 10th.will take another soon now that it has healed and the colours are showing more)

3. My Dad turned 70! I can really believe he is 70. He doesn't look 70 and he sure don't act 70. Yes he is a little slower but he works like a horse and is still my hero! My Aunty Helen came from over in Queensland to spend some time and I love seeing her and having the tie to chat. Last time we were together was our wedding and we whipped off to Rarotonga and felt robbed of the time with her and my Aunty Dawn. This was awesome. (pic taken the day after the festivities.....yuk)

4. I made a rag quilt! I have been busting to do one of these and with the ne machine I did it!
   This is it in 165 squares being laid out so we knew how we wanted the squares to go. Being old florals etc for Nikita she helped me each step of the way.
   

   

   
   This is it stitched all together but not snipped and washed to bring out the rag effect...getting excited at this point!

5. We did Joel's fav thing....and made more handmade playdough...he is lying on it because 'It is warm Mummy'
   

   

6. I had a class at TM with the nicest bunch of ladies from Geraldton. They were fabulous, the had fun and I had fun, and we are looking forward tothem returning next year! Thanks ladies for your time. We were honoured to have you!
   
7. and finally (as the title elludes) I AM COUNTING DOWN TO BOYANUP

   New yummies at TM...Heaps of Krafty Lady moulds, Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants etc etc....it is just too tempting.
